Optimize particle size distribution
Keep narrow particle size span, avoid excessive ultrafine powder and uneven grain size that cause agglomeration. Stabilize D97 steadily below target size without too many superfine fines.
Control low grinding temperature
Maintain system temperature below 80°C to prevent sulfur softening, melting and surface viscosity, avoid particles sticking together.
Remove static electricity thoroughly
Fully ground all equipment, keep proper ambient humidity, eliminate static adsorption between sulfur particles.
Dry treatment by closed-loop nitrogen
Use dry circulating inert gas to reduce powder moisture content; low moisture greatly improves free-flow property.
Add proper anti-caking flow aid
Adopt inert, non-reactive ultra-fine flow agent in small dosage to separate particle contact faces, enhance dry dispersion.
Strengthen airflow dispersion during classification
Increase secondary dispersion air volume of turbo classifier to break soft agglomerates completely.
Uniform feeding and avoid material compaction
Use loose feeding method, prevent sulfur powder from being compacted inside hopper and pipeline.
Smooth inner wall anti-stick treatment
Use smooth non-adhesive lining inside pipes and silos to reduce powder wall adhesion.
Keep slight positive pressure inert atmosphere
Avoid moisture and humid air entering the system, keep powder dry all the time.
Slow-speed sealed discharging
Avoid strong impact and extrusion during finished powder discharging to prevent secondary agglomeration.
